Here we have a guide on plotters and trackers and how they work. Before we begins let us state that neither a plotter or tracker are required to play. They are simply handy tools that enhance role-play experiences, if you chose to use them and they benefit your style.
Plotters:
What is a plotter? A plotter is a thread under the designated board where players can post information about their characters and have other players reply with queries for plot and role-play together. This could be an adventure, conflict, romance, classes, etc.
How do I make one? You start by creating a thread under one of your accounts. Any character account will work. While you can set up individual threads for each character it is often easier to make one for all character. If you have an OOC account you may post under that as well. As long as the information inside is for approved characters.
There is no set way to create a plotter as much is left in the hands of the player. However, you may view some plotters already up for examples.
You can also find many great templates here.
If you have further question about plotters please contact the admin team, they will be happy to assist you.
Trackers:
What is a tracker? Similar to a plotter, a tracker is a thread posted by the player in a designated board, though its design is for tracking threads characters are in. This can be a separate thread from your plotter, or you can combined the two, depending on your preference and style.
Most trackers contain links to threads character are active in, while also keeping links to finished threads to easily access personal history as the site grows and threads began to archive. Trackers are useful tools for those who enjoy looking back over past threads.
How do I make one? There is not set structure for a tracker. You may look at the examples already up. You may also find many templates here.
If you need further assistance with setting up a tracker please contact the admin team.
